- Grilled Bananas with Chocolate and Cinnamon Ice Cream

This unique dessert will be the most memorable part of the barbeque.

- Ingredients:

- 2 bars (3.5ounces/100grams each) Lindt Bittersweet chocolate
- 1 pint (475ml) vanilla ice cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 bananas
Aluminum foil
- Method:

- Remove the vanilla ice cream from the freezer and let it soften
- Chop one bar of the chocolate into chunks
- Either using a mixer or by hand, stir the chocolate and cinnamon into the softened vanilla ice cream. Put the ice cream back into the freezer
- Peel the bananas and slice in half lengthwise
- Break the second chocolate bar into 4 rows, lengthwise
- Place the chocolate on the bottom half of the banana, put the top half back in place and wrap in aluminum foil. Repeat procedure for the remaining 3 bananas
- Place the foil wrapped bananas on the grill. Remove when they are soft and the chocolate is melted. This can be easily checked using a toothpick or skewer
- To Serve

- Place the grilled banana on a plate and carefully unwrap the foil
- Top with a scoop of the cinnamon & chocolate ice cream
