Intense Orange Muffins
Instense Orange Muffins

Rather than using traditional chocolate chips, chop a Lindt chocolate bar into small pieces. These muffins will be a treat at any Sunday brunch!

Recipe by Master Chocolatier Ann Czaja

Ingredients:
  • 5.25oz (150g) Lindt Excellence Intense Orange Bar, chopped
  • 1/3 cup (80g) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup (150g) flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Method:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Butter or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar.
  4. Combine the eggs, milk and vanilla and add to the butter mixture.
  5. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the butter mixture.
  6. Fold in the chopped Lindt Excellence Intense Orange Bar.
  7. Spoon mixture into the prepared muffin tin and bake approximately 20-25 minutes.
Yield:
12 muffins or 24 mini muffins
Prep Time:
30 minutes, 20-25 minutes baking time
