Flora is an Austrian Maître Chocolatier and works in product development for Lindt & Sprüngli, Austria. Flora cultivated a taste for fine Swiss chocolate while working there as a pastry chef. She considers chocolate the ultimate taste experience and enjoys combining it with interesting raw ingredients. “The most fulfilling aspect of my job,” says Flora, “is creating chocolates that will put a smile on the face of even the grumpiest person. The look in the eyes of a person enjoying chocolate-inspired delight is indescribable.” Flora believes that technique and knowledge of food science can be learned, but the passion for the work must be present before you begin.
