Official Sweepstakes Rules (the “Rules”) 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The LINDOR & HAL Cruise Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc., One Fine Chocolate Place, Stratham, New Hampshire 03885 (“Lindt” or the “Sponsor”).  Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.  GRAND PRIZE INCLUDES ONLY CRUISE VOUCHERS AS DESCRIBED IN RULE 3 BELOW; WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES RELATED TO TRANSPORTION TO/FROM CRUISE DEPARTURE CITY. 

1.  ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry and who have previously planned to be in New York City during the Sweepstakes Period set forth below.  Employees, officers and directors of Lindt and Holland America Line Limited (“HAL”), and its parent and affiliated companies, anyone involved in the production or development of this Sweepstakes, as well as their respective immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members are not eligible.  The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void in Puerto Rico, Guam, and where prohibited.  Holland America Line Limited is not responsible for the administration, execution, or conduct of the Sweepstakes or the selection of the winner(s).

2.  HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes starts on November 24th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on December 14th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.  

There are two ways to enter:

Enter at the Lindt Chocolate Retail Stores located at 7 West 34th Street, New York, New York (the “Lindt NYC Store”). During the Sweepstakes Period, during regular business hours, visit the Lindt NYC Store, scan the QR code on the specific Sweepstakes signage displayed in the store, and complete in full the information requested on entry form, including your full name and email address.  

Enter Online:  During the Sweepstakes Period, go to https://www.lindtusa.com/2025-holland-cruise-sweepstakes and complete in full the information requested on entry form, including your full name and email address.  Limit one (1) entry per person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one (1) entry during the Sweepstakes Period by using multiple/different identities or any other methods resulting in any entrant submitting more than one (1) entry during the Sweepstake Period by any means will void that entry and entrant may be disqualified.

Limit one (1) entry per person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one (1) entry during the Sweepstakes Period by using multiple/different identities or any other methods resulting in any entrant submitting more than one (1) entry during the Sweepstake Period by any means will void that entry and entrant may be disqualified

3.  PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING:  One (1)  Grand Prize: A cruise voucher for a 7-day Holland America Line Alaskan itinerary cruise (Approx. Retail Value: $3,222.00 USD).  Prize consists of: cruise fare, government taxes and fees, required cruise expenses, and crew appreciation only, and includes all regular onboard meals and entertainment for winner and one (1) guest (in one (1) double occupancy oceanview stateroom) aboard the Eurodam, Westerdam, or Koningsdam cruise ships for 7-days/6-nights.   PRIZE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY OTHER EXPENSES, INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION TO DESTINATION CITY PRIOR TO CRUISE OR TRANSPORTION FROM DESTINATION FOLLOWING THE CRUISE.  WINNER AND GUEST ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM DESTINATION CITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CRUISE.

The odds of winning the Prize depend on the total number of valid entrants in the Sweepstakes.

4.  PRIZE CONDITIONS:  

The Cruise Voucher is valid for one (1) oceanview stateroom for two (2) persons, including winner (the “Consumer(s)”) on any Holland America Line® brand cruise on an Alaskan itinerary of seven (7) days duration on a sailing completed no later than September 30, 2026, subject to availability and blackout dates as determined solely by Holland America Line Limited (“Cruise”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $3,222.00 USD.  Actual ARV of Cruise will be determined at time of booking and is dependent on dates of travel, duration of voyage, seasonal rates, and itinerary.  Any difference between stated and actual value will not be awarded. Cruise Vouchers are subject to all terms imposed by Holland America Line Limited (“HAL”) and apply to cruise fare, government taxes and fees, required cruise expenses, and crew appreciation only.  Cruise fare includes all regular onboard meals and entertainment. Except as expressly provided in these Rules, alcoholic beverages, baggage fees and travel expenses (including but not limited to all shore-side hotel accommodations, airline fees and/or ground transfers to and from the ship), excursion fees, gratuities, discretionary hotel/dining charges, meals in alternate dining venues, onboard expenditures, boutique purchases, and any other expenses not specified as being included are the sole responsibility of the Consumer.  All reservations and Cruise arrangements including, without limitation, the dates and times, are subject to availability (as determined solely by HAL), and restrictions such as capacity restrictions. Blackout dates including holidays may apply. HAL does not guarantee the Cruise will be available on the exact sailing dates requested by Consumer.

Subject to availability, the Consumer may upgrade to a higher cabin category by paying the difference between the Cruise covered by the Cruise Voucher and the cabin category of their choosing (if available).  As with any customer booking a cruise, HAL will retain the option to facilitate the Consumer adding additional vacation features such as internet access, drink packages or upgraded room types (e.g., balcony) at the price available, as specified on the HAL website at the time of Consumer booking. The sailing must be completed no later than September 30, 2026. 

Cruise Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, are non-transferable, and the Consumer who receives the Cruise Voucher must book the Cruise and sail using the Cruise Voucher.  Should the Consumer fail to embark, any other guests sailing in the cabin will be held responsible for the full cost of the Cruise.  Cruise Vouchers are valid on new bookings only, not valid on previously booked sailings.  No changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been booked, except at HAL’s sole discretion. Cruise Vouchers cannot be combined with any other offers, including but not limited to any HAL casino offer, any general HAL offer, or any third-party offer. No refund or credits shall be provided for any unused portion(s) of the Cruise Voucher. Any portion of the Cruise Voucher not accepted by the Consumer will be forfeited, and HAL shall not be responsible for any inability of a Consumer to accept or use any portion of the Cruise Voucher for any reason.

Cruise guests must meet all eligibility requirements to sail as described on HAL’s website as of the date of departure unless the Cruise guest is the child of the Consumer (in which case such minor guests must be accompanied at all times during Cruise trip by the Consumer). All Cruise travelers must have all necessary identification and/or Cruise documents (including, but not limited to, a valid passport, visa (if applicable) and all other necessary travel documents, which include any health certifications/proofs of vaccination that are required by HAL and/or applicable governments/ports) required for chosen Cruise. Cruise is subject to the terms and conditions of HAL’s Cruise Contract. As set forth in more detail in the Cruise Contract, HAL reserves the right to refuse to embark any traveler, at any time if, in the sole opinion of HAL, a traveler is unfit for any reason for the Cruise. HAL shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any acts or omissions whatsoever by Cruise operators or any other persons providing any Cruise-related services or accommodations. Consumer and any guests are also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that HAL has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Lost, stolen or damaged Cruise Vouchers, will not be replaced or exchanged.

5.  WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND VALIDATION: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected via random drawing from among all valid entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.  Potential winner will be contacted via the email address provided at entry and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, tax forms and, where lawful, a publicity release within the time required by Sponsor upon notification.  Winner’s guest must sign and return a travel/liability/publicity release when requested.  Failure to comply will result in disqualification.  The return of any notification as undeliverable or failure to respond or return any documents within the time requested by Sponsor or a determination by Sponsor that potential is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner from among all remaining valid entrants.

6.  GENERAL RULES: Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, without advance notice, if any fraud or suspected fraud, technical failures, human error or intervention, or any other factor impairs the integrity, security, or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  In no event will Sponsor be required to award more prizes than the number stated in these Rules or award prizes other than those described in these Rules. 

All entries are subject to verification by the Sponsor and the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel and revoke any entries if they are found, or suspected of being improper, fraudulent, forged, incomplete or tampered with or if the entrant is subsequently found to be ineligible pursuant to the Rules. 

7.  RELEASE: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, HAL, and their respective parent and affiliated companies, and each of such company’s officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Group”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or participation in any Sweepstakes or prize-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery

8.  LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Sweepstakes Group makes no guarantee or representation of any kind concerning the Prize, and disclaims any express or implied warranties concerning the Prize. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Sweepstakes Group is not responsible for: (i) electronic or digital transmissions, entries or mail that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected, not delivered, or not received by Sponsor for any reason; (ii) mail that is received postage-due; (iii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures (including but not limited to failures or malfunctions of phone lines, mail delivery service, telephone systems or other communications systems), destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for printing, distribution or production errors; (iv) failed or unavailable hardware, network, software or telephone transmissions; (v) damage to entrants' or any person's computer or phone; (vi) causes beyond Sweepstakes Group’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes; (vii) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (viii) any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising related to the Sweepstakes, in the administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement/notification of prize winner; (ix) any human, or other error, which may occur in the promotion, administration, or execution of this Sweepstakes; or (x) cheating or fraud by any participant. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if possible.

9.  PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner's name, prize won, home state, likeness, photographs, and statements, and winner agrees to be filmed, recorded, and/or photographed in connection with any prize-related activity, for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. 

10.  DISPUTES: Entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, or the appropriate New Hampshire State Court in Rockingham County; entrant hereby submits to the sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of New Hampshire for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New Hampshire without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New Hampshire or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New Hampshire. 

11.  PRIVACY: Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.  By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of your personal information as referenced therein.
