Father's Day Shipping Cutoff Times

Orders placed using Standard shipping will no longer arrive by Father's Day
FedEx Expedited Order by 12:00 pm ET (noon) on Wednesday, 6/12

Due to high temperatures and perishable nature of our product/risk of melting, Standard/Ground shipping is not available as a shipping method for deliveries to some states (noted below)

Customers in the states listed below will automatically be offered “Second Day” shipping during checkout. Those orders will be expedited to ensure the safety and quality of our product.

Deliveries to these listed locations requiring Second-Day not eligible for Free Standard Shipping promotions. These orders (Orders $75+) are however eligible for reduced-rate Second Day Shipping. You will see an automatic discount applied as a "Warm Weather Shipping Rate" at checkout with one of the rates displayed above. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Additionally, the following ZIP code ranges will be also upgraded to the Warm Weather shipping due to information provided by our shipping carrier partners. Customers orders will be expedited to ensure the safety and quality of our product.

*To prevent melting, orders received Wednesday through Friday will ship the following Monday to reduce the time spent in transit or sitting in a warehouse or vehicle.

After shipments leave Lindt fulfillment facility and are in FedEx ownership, Lindt is not liable for FedEx delivery timing. Customers can check order status at FedEx Tracking.

*Discounted Expedited Shipping: Orders $70-$500 that don't qualify for Standard Ground Shipping due to warm weather shipping restrictions will receive a discount of $17.95 on the expedited rate. This discount will automatically be applied at checkout. Expedited orders $500+ that do not qualify for a shipping discount may still be eligible for volume discounts. See Offer Details.

Warm Weather Shipping

Warm weather shipping is in effect for some areas. Due to the risk of product melting during transit, some shipping options are not available for delivery to some areas. During the summer we ship on ice as needed, to ensure product integrity.

To reduce the risk of your chocolate melting, please retrieve and open the package as soon as possible after delivery.


Shipping is currently restricted to Expedited service for the following states.  Standard Ground Shipping is not available for:

Michigan 49800-49999

After you've submitted your order and received a valid FedEx Tracking number (tracking numbers are emailed at approximately 11:00 pm ET on the day your order ships), you have the option to customize your shipping arrangements with our FedEx shipping partner. To do so, please visit Fedex Delivery Manager for further information. You must create an account with FedEx for this FedEx delivery customization option.


After first delivery attempt

Although your order is cold-packed to prevent melting, due to the perishable nature of our products we cannot be responsible for the condition of orders that are not able to be delivered on the first attempt, or that you may have updated or revised through any customization options with our FedEx shipping partner.


Multiple ship-to addresses does not currently offer shipments within a single order to multiple addresses. While this feature may be supported in the future, at this time you will need to place a separate order for each shipping address.


Order Confirmation and Tracking

After placing your order you will receive an order confirmation email. After your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email, which will also contain tracking information. If you don't see either email, please check your email spam folder. If you have shipped to multiple addresses, you will receive a single order confirmation email, and separate shipping confirmation emails for each shipping address.


Shipping Restrictions

At this time, we cannot ship to any APO, DPO, FPO, MPO, or P.O. Box addresses. If the address contains any of the accronyms, no shipping methods will appear and you will not be able to place your order. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are working with our delivery partners to deliver to these addresses in the future.
