Candied Cranberries
A decorative and delicious treat.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) water
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) whole cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) coarse decorating sugar
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water and simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let cool for 10 minutes. Pour over cranberries in small bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours.
- Drain and toss with coarse decorating sugar until coated.
